Subject: Re: [Leica] Advice on 35m for SL

When I bought my first Leica R3 in 1976, I bought a 35/2, 60 macro, and a
135/2.8 . I had Leica USA convert the 60mm to E55 filter thread a year or
so later. I have to say, these lenses are the reason I continued with
Leica. All three are true Leica quality lenses. The 35/2 Summicron is a
wonderful lens and I would not ever get rid of it. I wouldn't trade it for
an ASPH model if they made it. I surely would not trade it for the 35/1.4 R
lens.
