Donal --

Thanks for the reply regarding Really Right Stuff. I have a collection, by
the way, of rare and collectible tripod screws. Would you have any
interest? Everything is mint to mint- except for my prized screw from an
old wooden Gitzo used by Daguerre, I think it was. And then there is
Mapplethorpe's leather screw (not for sale).

John

Yep. The problem is it is all or nothing, unless you only use the
viewcamera for instance on the traditional head. I feel it has been
money well spent, but then I hate tripod screws!!

I love the non thinking, just get 'em on and off tripod or gyro. Makes
me use tripod for things I otherwise wouldn';t bother. I hate tripod
screws!!

Yes. Did I mention I hate tripod screws??

I also got a B9, I belive it is, the two way plate that attached to the
regular Nikon plate. I had complained because the axis on my Pentax 67s
are different from 35mm plates and switching backand forth, especially
with the gyro in an airplane or boat is the pits. So Brian sent my the
B9 to put on the 35mm body for those occasions. And it is perfect for
the M body too, and small telephotos like a 300 f/4.

give a call and talk to them.
