That's easy, if the budget isn't too tightly constrained: the 
already-becoming-legendary newish Leica 8x32BA.  And not just because 
this is the Leica list.  They're closer-focusing and easier-handling 
than the highly respected 8x42BA, but still have a large-enough exit pupil 
that they're not nearly so fiddly to clap to the eyes than any of the 
8x20-class glasses.  See:
