1. If a camera has not been used for X years(new, but kept for an
investment or used, but put aside for awhile) should it be serviced
before it is used?

Assuming it must be serviced then:

2.1  Can a M6 be serviced on the West Coast of the U.S. or where? 

2.2  How much will it cost?
