I enjoy the photographs of myself taken way out in the mountains with my
ice ax and pack and... shot with the shutter self-timer.  Set up with a
tripod or the camera just sitting on a rock, push the shutter then run
over to be position when the shutter fires.  Maybe other climbing
buddies will be saving a place for me.  

I don't think the M has a self-timer, does the R?   Dale
