Subject: [Leica] CASSETTES: A Gaffe!
From: Marc James Small <msmall@roanoke.infi.net>

At 11:17 PM 2/1/98 -0500, I hastily inscribed in foolish error:
>Of course, the text-book solution is to bulk-load film and shoot with Leica
>cassettes. Get the old ones, the IXMOO's, the ones with the brown knob.

The Man With The Kill List, reputed mob torpedo Marvin Moss, kindly
E-mailed me to point out that the IXMOO/14006 is the later, 'N' type
cassette with the chrome knob for use on M and LTM cameras: this guy is as
short as the regular Agfa-type cassette used on commercial film.

The cassette you want for LTM cameras is the earlier FILCA/14000, which is
a tad taller and which has a brown knob.
