Dear Colleagues,

Nothing bugs me as much as examining a used Leica M lens I'm looking to buy
only to find that the front element is badly scratched up. A first rate UV
filter and lens shade haven't degraded any of my negatives to my knowledge.
In any case, what I don't know won't hurt me in THAT department. It never
has.
