Try shooting the most recent 35mm Summicron M (pre ASPH) w and w/o a 
UV and the sun at the edge of the frame at about the 10 or 11 oclock 
position. The internal reflections will drive you nuts with the UV in 
place, whereas the lens, by itself is ok, though still vulnerable. 
Filter was a B+W.
