Stan,
This cover should be included in the package. My own sample bought in Sweden
was complete.
Check the lens front if it really is an asph lens that they gave you in the
shop, this seems strange.
If everything is OK with the lens, I should do this:

1) Go to the shop, and ask them to get a cover for you. This is a part of
the deal.
or
2) Mail Leica Solms and order one yourself. It can be sent to you in a
private letter.

Do not worry too much about the cover. Although it is a clever accessory, I
never use mine.
