Re: 35mm F2 ASPH with a hood -- Stan Reinike's question concerning a
lens hood cover.

Congratulations on obtaining a beautiful lens and instrument.  I handled
one just a few days ago and was impressed by its feel.  The Handbook of
the Leica System - - 1997 shows the Summicron-M F2/35 ASPH coming with,
among other accessories, a lens hood (No. 12526) and a lens hood cover
(Order No. 14043).  In that the lens is so new and its accessories not
yet in the pipe line, a letter to Leica Camera AG, Oskar-Barnack
Strasse, 11, D-35606 Solms, Germany, may be in order to obtain this lens
hood cover.
