Hi Marc,

A couple of years ago an old airforce Group Captain friend of mine past
away and his widow gave me his Leica 111f, three lenses and other bits and
pieces. She gave them to me because "She knew Red wanted me to have it!" :)
Like mint off the shelf. A fine rememberance gift from a great old fighter
pilot.

In the case was a roll of ILFORD HPS 400, expiry date, "July 1957!" A roll
of film 40 years old still in the orginal yellow and green box and the
price marked, $1.20. Aaaaaaah them were the days for a good price! :)

No I'm not going to try it, as it's well on it's way to being a museum item
along with the camera. Besides I think it's more interesting to have it
intact rather than using it.

Makes for an interesting conversation piece.
