I see there's a note of correction in the Manual for the R8 that mentions 24V tripping circuits on studio flash. So far, I'm in love with my R8. It feels like a Leica like no other Leica SLR I've ever used. (Not there's a mouthful of irony). Solid, smooth, quiet. I almost don't miss having a motor. ========== Eric Welch St. Joseph, MO http://www.ponyexpress.net/~ewelch I disagree with unanimity.
