I have the 35/1.4 aspherical (1st version, I am assuming it is essentially
the same as the current ASPH). If you need a standard light weight lens to
get those "available darkness" shots, the 35 asph can't be beat. I know
the Noctilux has that special look to it, and I'm not sure if you can
duplicate that look with the 35/1.4, but it sure does get those tough shots
in near darkness. You can use it as a standard lens.
