There isn't any question, that if I were starting to shoot sports today I'd have Canon EOS 1n's and glass no matter how fast I can focus, the A/Focus is beyond human ability. regardless of what some shooters may say and think. Quite frankly I always prided my ability to focus quickly just from experience and pre-setting for where the action should be and fine tune at the right moment, however after a few encounters of using Canon EOS 1's I was put in my place very quickly!:) And I believe with the several points of focus option now built in where one just looks at a spot on the screen and the camera focuses on that spot is quite an advancement from the centre position only. But changing would entail a huge outlay at a time when I think I can cope with the Leicas for a bit longer. However if I were to win the lottery that would be a whole new ball game. :) ted
