Alf,

Yes, that was restaged, but it was in the Pacific and it wasn't Capa. The 
famous image of MacArthur striding through the surf returning to the 
Philipines was also restaged. However, it would have been a bit much to 
restage the Normandy Invasion for Capa's benefit. The photos I was 
referring to were taken on the beach as the troops were landing. Even 
though the lab melted them, they are still impressive.
