I didn't know >that R-7s were made that way also. Never saw one of them. Please don't thank me. Mr. Zaretzke is the one to thank for his generousity of time and effort. I've never seen the R7 either and have spent some time wondering where they engraved the R7's map. >My buddy will be delighted to hear that he has a genuine short >production run item. He bought his from Chatterton, as I said, and it >was bare. No lens or "never ready bag". That's how all of the six I've seen for sale in the US have been equiped (equipt?). It's very unassuming as far as special edition M6's go. The map is tastefully done, beautifully engraved and very not-garish. I really like mine and I'm sorry to sell it but sometimes other things are more important than pretty M6's that sit unused out of guilt and wishes. Regards, Danny Gonzalez
