Those of you who have used SLRs to the exclusion of all other cameras for 
a long time, should get to a dealer and dry fire a Canon EOS RS with 
pellicle mirror. It will knock your socks off! The constant view of the 
subject, knowing full well that you have a SLR in your hands, is a joy.

Immediately afterward, grab an EOS 1n and mount the same lens. Viewing the 
same dark corner of the store will look no brighter to anyone except those 
with unusually good vision. Again, as said, Leica could certainly refine 
that brightness fall off to even less than it is now.

It is a technology that, as Richard says, should be pursued in future Rs.
