Subject: Monovision contacts with Leica

I think I remember someone on the LUG list talking about using monovision
contact lenses with a camera. The detail I am trying to remember is which
lens is to be used with your viewing eye - the distance lens or the
close-up lens?

My wife is struggling to adjust to her new monovision contacts. She shoots
with a Leica M6, a Minolta CLE and a Mamiya 7, so I am asking this question
in relation to using rangefinder cameras.
