I think the M4-P, the M4, and the M6 are where you should start, The first
two don't have meters inside so you have to weigh that out. A "P" probably
represents the best M value right now - you get all the frame lines of the
six, and there are a lot of clean users out there.

You also might want to consider a 35 - either a summicron or an old chrome
2.8 summaron - a recent post echoes my sentiments about this lens.

If you stuck on a fifty, the black wetzlar summicrons are nice and sharp.
