I still find my (coated) 7.3 Hektor a useful portrait lens. THe aberrations
soften things nicely and the 75mm frame on the M4P/M6 works well.

sometimes the focusing can be stiff. It then helps to manully set the guessed-at
distance and fine tune with the rangefinder. Leica_M lenses need to be short and
reasonably thin not to obscure the viewfinder.
