And I agree with you about my comments on the R8. I tend to be a tad defensive
regarding equipment I use and have excellent service from throughout the damdest
conditions possible. 

When I see comments about how good or bad a piece of picture taking machinery is
and I feel they are not representative of "on assignmnet conditions" of what I
have done and do put my gear through, I feel I have to make defensive remarks.
As unjustified as I might be at times.

It is like your comments of the M6, I have had mine (3) since '85-'86 ? and they
have never failed me and apart from changing meter batteries they've never been
in for any servicing since!  Like yours, they just keep chugging along like the
"pink bunny"!:) And I trust they will do so for some time to come.

Ted (who jumps too quick some times) but that's what keeps me alive! :)
