hmmm...I just had another look at the "Guide".  My hood has the 'double
trigger fastening', which appears to be absent from the ITDOO. Also the
picture of the ITDOO has the engraving on the black part of the hood, while
the engraving on mine is on the thin chrome ring closest to the lens.  On
the opposite side of the ring are the words, "Ernst Leitz GmbH Wetzlar
Germany".  On the other hand, the part of the ring with the engraving
appears much thinner on my hood as compared with the diagram in my book.  

Tomorrow, I'll have to check up a store with a better Leica guide to see if
I can find a photograph of the two hoods.
