Oddmund:

I hope not.  I would rather see them spend a bit of energy on the 
M-system.  It only needs a couple of things that we all probably agree 
on.  One is at least 250/sec flash sync.  The other is TTL fill flash.

Beyond that, it is a nearly perfect system.  And those things can be 
found in small point and shoots, so they are doable in the M-system.  
Then make a 28 1.4 ASPH and 90 and 135 APO.  And a small motor winder, 
very small and quiet for us left-eyed people.  Then they can be done 
with that for about 15 years and concentrate on the R-system.
