I think that the sidetrack got going as a result of discussion regarding
the pros/cons of the Leica Minilux.  Others jumped in to tell about their
favorite P&S, bemoan the Minilux, and then it was off and running.  And
while the Minilux _is_ a Leica, your point is well taken.
