Hi gang,

Read a nice detail in FotoMagazin 6/96, in an article about AF.
We all know that Leitz introduced AF ('Correfot') at the 1976
PhotoKina, right? <g>
Although it never made it into production, it appears that this
Correfot now serves its duty in the German Leopard tank....
Ah well, glass is glass....;-))

Another AF detail from the Dutch CameraMagazine:
They claim that Leica and Kyocera shared tables about a year ago, to
discuss the AF system that recently has been introduced in the Contax
AX.

It also says somewhere that an M6 only requires maintainance after
*200,000* exposures.
