I have the feeling that I need to say something here to rescue Leica's reputation. <g>

I've never bought anything new from them, everything was used. But I bothered them a lot with questions about minor details (sometimes not even Leica specific) and they always answered immediately and sent detailed replies. Once, I asked them about an article about Segastiao Salgado that was published in a publication called "24x36" that is issued by Leica France. This time I had to wait about three weeks for an answer (while it normally takes three days). The reason was: They had contacted Leica France and had tried to find out if they had a copy left of the magazine I wanted to have. They couldn't get it but they apologized at least three times. IMHO, their information department in Solms seems to consist of very friendly and helpful people.

Bye, Edi.
