I find this "good guys" "evil empire" view of the differences between 
the two systems to be quite mystical. They have no problem paying for 
Leica M, but think the R is price gouging. Sure is a mystery to me. 

Have you seen the new Contax AX? Boy, what a smart way to go, and a way 
to autofocus Leica R without having to change the lenses! Leica should 
pay for a license. If they can buy Minox and a bunch of other 
businesses, it seems to me they could afford that.
