I have one of those-the one with the attached lens hood. As funny as it
looks, it works great. I have one of these polarizers for my Summitar and
another one for my old 36mm front screw mount lenses.

I do see these at swap meets. Prices vary a lot. I bought the one for the
42mm front lenes about 4 years ago, like new for $25. The way Leica prices
increase, $100 or so sounds about right.
