Used ones are hard to come by. So if you can find one, snatch it up. It's a crazy-looking device but must be the easiest way to use a polariser on the M. Only fits 39mm threads (so unfortunately won't fit my 28mm) but could be used on 35 and 50. Maybe also on 90mm Tele- Elmarit? I've seen one advertised for UKP 120, which is a lot for a small polariser, but it would only have to be bought once. And if, as I suspect, it's unusual to see a used one, that price would have to be weighed against the price of a new one. Any reactions? joe b. >-- Saved internet headers (useful for debugging) >Received: from UCSD.EDU by mail.ucsd.edu; id DAA12784 sendmail 8.6.12/UCSD-2.2- >Received: from mejac.palo-alto.ca.us (mejac.palo-alto.ca.us [192.147.236.1]) by >Received: by mejac.palo-alto.ca.us id AA24237; Thu, 18 Jan 96 00:56:53 -0800 >Received: by mejac.palo-alto.ca.us id AA24233; Thu, 18 Jan 96 00:56:49 -0800 >Received: from post.demon.co.uk ([158.152.1.72]) by relay-4.mail.demon.net >Received: from azurite.demon.co.uk ([158.152.206.50]) by relay-3.mail.demon.net >Message-Id: <NGh$MQAH8T$wEwwp@azurite.demon.co.uk> >Date: Wed, 17 Jan 1996 18:25:11 +0000 >To: leica-users@mejac.palo-alto.ca.us >From: "joe b." <joe@azurite.demon.co.uk> >Subject: Leitz swing-polariser >Mime-Version: 1.0 >X-Mailer: Turnpike Version 1.11 <o1driLLSWkkwIdz7lucp4Q5JGm>
