I saw it in Japan a few days ago during business trip. It was already
displayed at some big Shinjyuku camera shops. In spite of its high price(I
do not even remember), I saw so many advertisement of G1 in commuter
trains, TV, magazines, newspapers in Japan.

Compact and small but rather giddy because of the titan color.
Quiet shutter but rather long shutter stroke than other Contax SLRs.
Clear, bright and cool but bulky finder.
Latest Japanese camera magazine articles (test reports in both Asahi Camera
and Nippon Camera) say "all lenses are excelent. But 16mm is not available
and not tested yet because 16mm is made in Germany. Others are made by
Kyosera in Japan and became available on time.

I like it. If I do not have M6 now, I would get one. Hope Nikon will follow.
