I just bought one of these things (it was cheap). It's a huge heavy macro
lens for the L39 mount. No rangefinder cam. I can't find any mention of
it any book I've got. Anyone out there ever seen one before and have any
idea what sort of performance I can expect from it?

When does it date from? (looks ancient but I presume 1950s). What sort of
a design is it? - presumably the name means a hybrid of Biotar and Tessar,
but what that might be I can't guess.
