Is anyone here debating buying the latest digital film, the I'm Back Roll
APS-C?

I've been dreaming of a digital canister with no protrusions for my Leica
M3 and now one is here. APS-C means I'd approximate a 50mm lens with a 35mm.

The Kickstarter project videos are not very professional,but the guy seems
to be a good engineer and developer. He already produced and sold a micro
4/3 one, but it had a mini-brick that sticks to the camera base. The new
one looks like a film canister that has the battery inside. It has an
aluminium plate with the APS-C sensor. Press a small bluetooth button
before activatingthe camera shutter.

For the bottom-loading Leica M, he has a special kit for US$550 for
early-bird pledgers. I am tempted to go for it. That is the price of 29
rolls of film with development and scans. Fewer for positive or classier
film. Making shooting with my M3 affordable again is my main motivation.

The fact the guy has made and sold earlier versions makes me worry less
that the current project will not be finalized. Besides, it has already
well exceeded its desired crowdfunding budget.

Any thoughts?
