[Leica] Fast 35mm that isn't a Summilux ASPH

I'd like to find a fast 35mm lens that does not focus shift appreciably,
and doesn't weigh a ton.
I have the first (non FLE) version 35/1.4 Summilux ASPH. Because of the
focus shift issue, at f/2.8-5.6 the point of focus is a bit behind what
the rangefinder indicates. Yes, I can compensate, but I'd rather not
have to worry about it. So I mostly shoot it at f/1.4, f/2, and f/8. And
unless I know I'm going to be in "available darkness" mode, I leave the
'Lux at home, and take my Mandler-era 35 Summicron IV.
Honestly, though, I love how that pre-FLE Summilux draws. When I nail
the focus, it's astounding. And even if I don't quite, it's beautiful.

(M8 photos from 2010 with the 'Lux wide open or nearly so.)
So I'm not inclined to replace it with the FLE version, especially at
today's prices. What I might want to do is pick up a fast but lighter
35mm lens. Something that I could use as an all-around lens for travel,
or when I want a light kit and I might need faster than f/2, but I might
not. Any suggestions for a lens like this? I must say the recent
Voigtlander 35/1.5 looks tempting. (I'm not interested in the "classic"
lenses patterned after the old spherical Summilux.
Thanks!
