> PS This protest was to deliver over 1,000 signatures to the county council, but was only attended by about 30 people as we had to present the petition during a working day. Most people were working, and many of the rest are scared of venturing out of their homes due to the tripledemic prevailing.  While I'm chairman of the local Monkstown residents group, I was also appointed official cameraman, and rapidly found out that getting them all together for a group photo was the equivalent of herding cats. With my inactivity photographically over the period of the plague, I discovered that I really need a lot of practice to keep my eye in.
