That's interesting, Nathan.  I still recall my driving test, when I was 
16, in a Dodge pickup with a manual transmission. The final test event, 
given by a state highway patrolman, was to get halfway up the steepest 
hill in town, then kill and restart the engine, without rolling back 
down the hill.  It made for some interesting footwork!
