Easily known I'm out of touch with film - $68 a roll seems just a teeny
bit steep!
But the Japanese are mad on their cameras, aren't they? Then I looked at
their cameras for sale and saw this
https://showa-store.com/collections/camera/products/olympus-om1-black-auto-s-50-1-8-lens
and its $2,080 price and truly was boggle-eyed with disbelief, as I have
five or six of those. Then I realised that Showa wasn't Japanese, but
Hong Kong based with prices in HKD. What a let down! That said
considering I bought many of my camera collection in various charity
shops for peanuts, there certainly seems to be a market for good
condition SLRs.
