[Leica] Nathan's PAD 25-27/8/2021: some Budapest people

I am still working through my many photos from last week’s trip to Budapest, a task made more complicated by computer problems which force me to do everything on my laptop right now. Anyway, here are four images from last week, mostly about people I saw or (in the case of the butcher and the four girls) spoke with.

While touring the Castle Hill, these girls approached me to take their picture. What I really liked about the request was that they had a proper DSLR and not just a crappy smartphone. Of course, I happily obliged, on the condition that I would also take a picture with my camera:

The next morning I woke up early and walked to a nearby covered food market to see it open at 6 a.m. I hung around for a couple of hours, having coffee, wandering around, taking pictures etc. I finally bought some excellent spicy salami from this friendly butcher, who was happy to pose for me:

Near our hotel was a wonderful small park, a real oasis in the middle of a big city. While walking there on Saturday morning, I noticed something remarkable—a paperback vending machine. While I was sitting on a bench, these two children came by to buy a book each. The machine was apparently a bit fiddly, but finally they managed:
