Thanks, Aram. I have my developing tanks and chemicals but they are still in the box which we used to move to this house 2 years ago. I have to start doing my own developing again, it is not cheap to have it done by the lab in Valencia. I just bought a changing bag so it is not necessary for me to have a dark room to load the film in the tank, and now that we have completed the latest remodelling, turning the garage into a guest room with its own bathroom etc., I have a place to dry the film too. So I expect to break out the bottles and tanks next time I need to develop a film.

Cheers,
Nathan

For many years of shooting film (40 or so) I have been a fan of Rodinal. Some grain, but I heard it described as "honest grain" by someone and that fit as much as anything. Besides, the last 13 years shooting film rarely, I like the longevity of Rodinal. My bottle was still good the last time I used it. Just take a few mL out to mix what I need and tuck it away for next time. Fixer is a different story.

There is something almost sensual about shooting with a Leica M2 which is roughly my age, using a Leica lens (50mm Summilux in this case) of a similar vintage.

It is a slow film but between living in a sunny place and having fast lenses available, it is perfectly usable here in Alicante. I did not shoot these images today, but I scanned the film this morning, so I claim them as my daily pictures for today.
