What is the difference?  My type 2 diabetic wife was advised (by her doctor) to drink whisky as the sugar level was so low....

I'm 71 now, which is easier to say than 70.
My doctor has patiently explained that Lagavullin is bad for my blood sugar, so I might look for a bottle of Laphroiaig instead.....I'm sure that there is a bottle around somewhere.
