Is that so? Lagavulin neat is zero carb, so it is unlikely to create blood
sugar in our bodies, as long as you do not put a sugary mixer in. After
all, blood sugar is primarily created by the breaking down of carbohydrates
after eating them. If you avoid all carbs, like I do, you can have a couple
of shots twice a week without a care in the world. By the way, I have been
following the LCHF diet (Low Carb, High Fat) for the last 3-4 years, and in
three months after starting it, my blood sugar was normal (after 25 years
of diabetes), in six months I was off all medication (as I continue to be).
All my parameters, including cholesterol, triglycerides, liver function,
kidney function, etc are normal, and my HBA1C floats between 5.75 to 6.25.
The funny thing about this is that the diet the doctors prescribed kept me
diabetic for 25 years, and now that I eat mainly what was forbidden by
them, I am normal. Go figure. My view is the medical ecosystem has all of
us earmarked as pasties!

Cheers
Jayanand
