[Leica] NASA Space Vehicle Mockup Facility

Yes, interesting, Peter. I saw the ISS flying over us tonight a couple
of hours ago, but we won't see it here again until July. It was a pity
that SpaceX didn't get away on the 27th as the orbit of the ISS took it
over us in Ireland at that time, and we would have seen SpaceX chasing
it down apparently.

Not to be, unfortunately, so I just had to make do with seeing the ISS
about 640 kilometres away to the south west. I'm assuming that it was
about 640 k as my house is 500 k away from the ground track of its orbit
and the ISS is 400 k above that. Of course, I'm not allowing for the
curvature of the Earth which probably puts it a bit further away, but
I'm not up for calculating that.

I don't remember seeing the Space-X Dragon mockup, but we were being moved along fairly quickly. View large and full screen if you can. Enjoy!
