Thanks for the updates Douglas.

Seeing your hedge, and since I planted some younglings last year (hornbeam and also marscescent), I wondered how thick yours are, and if tigs reappear after (severe) trimming. My main concern is we used to, in a former house, have tuhjas that had gone so thick that we had to pull them out and replace. Here I want to keep them as slim as your servant - note that I did not use the word skinny, after confinement ...
