Trying to make a silk purse out of sow’s ear, I document the ambiance around us during the few outings I am allowed.

Our local fish shop has instituted a limit of 4 customers inside the store. In practice, people tend to keep it to 1, so they wait outside:

In our local bakery, people typically wait till there is nobody else inside:

In the supermarket, you are supposed to keep away from the other customers:

But all is not bleak. Thanks to the technology, I am able to play chess and talk to my son, even though he is on the other side of the Atlantic, in northern New Jersey:
