Some nice ones there, Nathan, and yes, mountain bikes are more tiring 
than road bikes. The rolling resistance, thanks to wider tyres and lower 
pressures, is much greater, along with other factors. So you discovered 
the infamous bonk - been there and got the t-shirt. It put manners on me!
