There is no shortage of people offering "how to fix Leica" since... I don't
know, 1940's? ;-)
... and yet Leica soldiers on, even making money. Who knew?
re: optical corrections of lens design - the theory is that as the lenses
are designed by computer programs and all characteristics, flaws and
otherwise, are known, they could provide the fix to them as well, within
limits of optics and software programs and what can fit inside a camera
processor.
