The main part of this weekly blog shows the large installations put up in
many neighbourhoods in Alicante during the week leading up to the midsummer
holiday, only to be burned a midnight on June 24th. They are very elaborate
and many people come to look, thus providing a good photo opportunity. There
are also some pictures from a ride to Relleu a lovely village in the
mountains, 31 km to the north of where I live. It is all here:
