[Leica] Photo-editing software recommendations?

You may not have any intention of switching, but I'll bet you dollars to
donuts that Adobe will force the issue in a few years. That is why I am
still with LR6. I don't object to the price of renting your software, but
to the idea that you have lost control and will end up wherever Adobe wants
you to end up, which I fear will be play on the cloud or don't play at all.

You can still use LR Classic with your own hard drives and local storage.
That's what I do. LR Classic offers more features and choices than the
cloud-based regular LR. I have no intention of switching.
