Nathan,

I’m neither sure if fungus can be removed…. but about your M2 I can inform you that Malcolm Taylor had original spare parts from Leica vintage and he can replace you the dammaged ones, as him, if you need I can give you his phone and address.

Un abrazo
Lluis

> Not sure about removing fungus. I just had my Leica M2 serviced by Will van Manen in the Netherlands; one of the issues was fungus infection in the viewfinder. He wrote me that it could not be removed (it is not particularly bothersome, but I would have preferred it removed) but he claims to have stopped it from getting worse by desinfecting the camera. I do not know what he used.

Sadly, all of the cameras require greater or lesser work to make them functional, and some of the lenses have fungus thanks to his living abroad in places of high humidity. Looks like I'll be busy over the winter with some tiny screwdrivers.

That said one of the seemingly okish lenses is a Miranda 70-210 f4 Macro which thanks to its Pentax fit will work on my A7ii. Here's a dullish handheld shot taken with it. Not being a macro man, I can only admire the patience and fast reflexes demonstrated by many on this list who produce excellent macro images day in, day out.
