But I did just look up "Mountaineer" which is my tripods official name in case it means something I don’t think it does.
It does.
" While some scholars identify mountaineering-related activities as climbing (rock and ice) and trekking up mountains, others are also adding backpacking, hiking, skiing, via ferrata and wilderness activities, and still others state that mountaineering activities also include indoor climbing, sport climbing and bouldering"
" Bouldering" caught my attention. As in "here we go a bouldering"
" Bouldering is a form of rock climbing that is performed on small rock formations or artificial rock walls, known as boulders, without the use of ropes or harnesses."
My plan had always been to walk around them. Or take a picture of them. But not be on them.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mountaineering
" Hiking in the mountains can also be a simple form of mountaineering when it involves scrambling, or short stretches of the more basic grades of rock climbing, as well as crossing glaciers."

I did some experimental scrambling this morning with a 12.5 inch Swiss Nonstick adding large chucks of mushrooms and sliced mini spuds then spent some time looking it up to figure out what to call it. A lot of recipes for these kinds of things. Lots of videos. Changed my life. Next time won't forget cheese.
It's getting called "A Scramble". I may never have another Omelette.

They sold it to me even though I'm not a Mountaineer. Nor do I play one on Television.
I'm found of smooth ground with few bumps or rocks on it. That way I avoid falls and bruises.
I’m in it for the long haul but I'd love that long haul to be on fairly level ground.
