Thanks! It is on the grounds of the Calvert Marine Museum and is open to tourists. These six sided light houses are unique to the Chesapeake Bay. The Bay is very shallow. There is a giant auger at the base of each leg. Back in the day they were floated into place and then the giant screws on the ends of legs to screw them into place. I just love them!
